Linking Aadhaar with Bank of India Account Offline

Bank of India customers have to visit their home branch to link their bank account with Aadhaar. The process is simple and the time taken for Aadhaar seeding with your account is less than a couple of minutes. Follow these steps to link your Bank of India account with Aadhaar by visiting the bank:

  • Visit the branch where you have the account
  • Fill the Aadhaar linking form
  • Attach a self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card along with the form
  • Submit the form to the bank executive
  • Provide your original Aadhaar card for verification
  • The executive returns your original Aadhaar along with a receipt
  • Your Aadhaar will be linked with your bank account immediately
  • The acknowledgement number in the receipt can be used to check the status of Aadhaar linking

Documents Required for Linking Aadhaar with Bank of India Account

Bank of India account holders have to link their bank accounts with Aadhaar by visiting the home branch. They have to carry the following documents for Aadhaar seeding:

  • Self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card (to be submitted in the bank)
  • Aadhaar linking Form (available in the bank)
  • Original Aadhaar card (returned to the customer after verification)

Linking your bank account with Aadhaar will allow you to get government subsidies under Public Distribution System (PDS) directly into your bank account. Account holders can link their Bank of India account with Aadhaar by visiting the branch where their account is being operated. As of now, there is no other method of linking your bank account with Aadhaar online, through SMS or ATM.
