You can get your details in Aadhaar updated by visiting a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre. You can follow the steps mentioned below to change the photo in Aadhaar card:
Step 1: Visit a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre/ Aadhaar Sewa Kendra
Step 2: Download the Aadhaar Enrolment/Correction/Update Form from UIDAI’s website
Step 3: Fill the form with due diligence
Step 4: Submit your form to the executive and provide your biometric details
Step 5: Now, the executive will take your live photograph
Step 6: You will have to provide biometrics to approve your details
Step 7: A fee of Rs. 100 will have to be paid to get the details updated
Step 8: You will get an Acknowledgement slip containing the URN
Step 9: The Update Request Number (URN) can be used to check the update status

Once your request to change the photo in Aadhar is processed, you can download the updated Aadhaar card online. Follow the steps mentioned below to download the updated Aadhaar Card:
Step 1: Visit the official website page of Aadhar at https://uidai.gov.in/
Step 2: Go to the ‘My Aadhaar’ section
Step 3: Click on the ‘Download Aadhaar’ option or you can also directly visit this link https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
Step 4: Select the ‘Aadhaar Number’ option
Step 5: Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Number
Step 6: Select the ‘I Want a Masked Aadhaar?’ option
Step 7: Enter ‘Captcha Code’ for verification
Step 8: Click on the ‘Send OTP‘ or ‘Enter a TOTP’ option to get the one time password on your registered mobile number
Step 9: Once done, enter the 6-digit OTP and complete the ‘Take a Quick Survey’
Step 10: Click on the ‘Verify and Download’ option to download the e-Aadhaar card
Note: You can choose to download a normal Aadhaar card or a Masked Aadhaar Card. However, you will also have to refresh your Aadhaar details in the mAadhaar app after the update. Aadhaar data has to be updated in the DigiLocker app as well.
