Aadhaar Address Validation Letter is a letter sent by the UIDAI to the Address Verifier’s address. This validation letter contains a secret code that is sent for validation after the Address Verifier consents to the use of his/her address by the requesting resident. After the request has been submitted, the resident will get the Aadhaar Validation Letter within 30 days from the date of the submitted request.

How to Raise Request for Address Validation Letter
It should be noted that before raising the Address Validation Letter, the applicant has to provide the aadhaar address of his/her address verifier who can be his/her family member, relative or landlord.
Mentioned below are the following steps to raise request for Address Validation Letter:
Stage 1: Initiating Request for Address Validation Letter
Step 1: Visit the official website of the UIDAI.
Step 2: Click ‘Request for Address Validation Letter’ under ‘My Aadhaar ’tab.
Step 3: Login with your Aadhaar Number or Virtual ID.
Step 4: You are required to enter your Verifier’s Aadhaar ID. The aadhaar address of your Verifier’s Address will be used to update your aadhaar, after your verifier’s consent and authentication.
Step 5: Now click submit to proceed further.
Stage 2: Consent by Address Verifier
Step 1: Your verifier will receive message regarding the address validation with a link to give consent for the same.
Step 2: Verifier is required to click the link and will receive another SMS with OTP for verification.
Step 3: Enter the OTP and the Captcha Code for verification
Step 4: You will receive your 28 digits Service Request Number (SRN) via SMS
Stage 3: Getting confirmation of verifier’s consent
Step 1: Now you are required to login with your SRN provided
Step 2: Preview your address detail
Step 3: You can edit your local language if you want it
Step 4: Click on submit tab.
Stage 4: After Receiving Letter
Step 1: Your address validation letter with a secret code will be sent to your verifier’s address via post.
Step 2: You are required to visit the Self Service Update Portal and click on ‘Proceed to Update Address’.
Step 3: Now login with your Aadhaar ID.
Step 4: Select ‘Update Address via Secret Code’
Step 5: Enter the secret code.
Step 6: Review the new address and then click submit button.
