Step 1: Visit the SBI Life official site and click on the “Aadhaar and PAN” linking banner
Step 2: Enter your Policy No./Customer ID and date of birth. Enter the security code and click on “Submit”
Step 3: Now enter your policy details, PAN and Aadhaar number
Step 4: Authenticate your details by clicking on the “Submit” button

Users can login to their SBI life insurance account and seed Aadhaar and PAN from there as well. You can follow these simple steps to link Aadhar with SBI Life Insurance:
Step 1: Login to your SBI Life account at https://mypolicy.sbilife.co.in/
Step 2: Your policy details will be shown. Select the “Update PAN/Aadhaar Number” from the “Profile Related” Section
Step 3: Now enter your PAN and Aadhaar Number, tick the declaration and click on the “Submit” button
Step 4: Your application will be submitted successfully

SBI has made provisions for people to link Aadhar with SBI Life Insurance offline as well. This will help people who are not well-acquainted with internet banking. You will have to follow these simple steps to link Aadhar with SBI Life Insurance policy offline:
Step 1: Visit a nearby SBI Life Insurance office
Step 2: Fill the Aadhaar and PAN linking form
Step 3: Attach self-attested copies of your Aadhaar card and PAN card with the form
Step 4: Submit the form to the executive
Step 5: You will get an acknowledgement slip which can be used to track the status of Aadhaar linking process
Step 6: A confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile number on successful linking.
Points to Keep in Mind
You should keep following points in mind while linking Aadhaar with your insurance policy:
- Keep your documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN, policy number, etc. handy
- In case you do not have a PAN card, submit form 60 along with your request
- The form 60, if submitted in digital form, has to be within the prescribed limit of 3.5 MB
- Do not access your account from a public computer to prevent your data from being compromised.
- Your mobile number need not be linked with Aadhaar to avail this facility.
- You should seed your mobile number and email id with your insurance policy to get timely updates.
