Contents of Aadhaar Correction Form
The Aadhaar Correction/Enrolment Form is used for enrolling and updating details in the Aadhaar card. The same form is used for both the processes. An applicant has to fill the following details in the Aadhaar card correction form while applying for correction in the Aadhaar data:
- Pre-enrolment ID
- NPR number
- Name
- Gender
- Age
- Complete Address including the e-mail id and mobile number
- Aadhaar details of Father/Mother/Guardian/Husband/Wife. Details of Father/Mother/Guardian is mandatory in case the child is below 5 years of age
- Details of document proofs (proof of identity, proof of address and proof of date of birth)
- Introducer’s/HoF’s details, if required
- Applicant’s signature/thumbprint

Things to keep in mind while filling the Aadhaar Correction Form
Aadhaar correction form has to be filled when you go to get your Aadhaar details updated. You have to keep following points in mind while filling the Aadhaar correction form for making corrections in your Aadhaar card:
- The Aadhaar Correction Form is available at the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre and is free of cost
- The form can be downloaded from UIDAI’s website as well.
- People have to pay a fee of ₹ 50 for Aadhaar correction/update
- A person can get as many details updated as he wants to at a single time
- In case the applicant applies for updating various details one by one, he has to pay the fee every time he comes for an update
- Only address can be updated online and through post
- The applicant has to visit a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre and fill the Aadhaar card correction form to update any other detail
- You have to submit relevant documents to prove the update request is valid and the details provided are genuine
- You do not have to fill Aadhaar Correction Form if you update your Address online
