RTGS and NEFT Holidays in Mizoram 2020
RTGS and NEFT are the payment systems that facilitate one-to-one funds transfer in India. People can electronically transfer money from any bank branch to a person holding an account with any other bank branch via these payment systems.
While RTGS works on a real time basis, NEFT settles transactions in half hourly batches. RTGS system is meant for large-value instantaneous fund transfers, while system is used for fund transfers of up to Rs 2 lakh.

NEFT is operational 24*7 and 365 days a year but as this process is based on Deferred Net Settlement (DNS); the transfer of funds are carried out on a half-hourly basis starting from 12:30 am to 12:00 pm.
