This Aadhaar card password is required to open and view their e-Aadhaar card. However, this Aadhar card password is different from their mAadhaar app password and cannot be changed.

For downloading your e-Aadhaar card, you need to visit https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and then follow the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on “Download Aadhaar” and select the relevant option amongst “Enrolment ID/Aadhaar Number/Virtual ID”.
You can find your Enrolment ID along with the Date Stamp in the Acknowledgment slip you received when you registered for Aadhaar. The other options are your 12-digit Aadhaar number/ 16-digit Virtual ID.
Step 2: Enter the captcha code that you see on the screen and then click on “Send OTP” to receive a One Time Password on your registered mobile no.
Step 3: Enter the OTP received and click on ‘Verify & Download’. Also, tick mark the check box if you want a masked Aadhaar card. Following this, a PDF file is downloaded into your device. That is your password-protected e-Aadhaar card.

As mentioned before, your online Aadhaar card (e-Aadhaar card) is password protected.
So, to open Aadhaar Card PDF file you have to use your e Aadhar card password:
