Rewards Program – 1 Reward Point per Rs.125 spent on retail and Railway tickets other than the ones mentioned above.
Railway Lounge Program – 1 free railway lounge visit per quarter at participating lounges in India.
Rupay Offers – The Rupay Platform provides great offers on travel, golf, dining and other entertainment options.
Fuel Surcharge Waiver – 1% fuel surcharge waiver is provided which is capped at Rs.100 per month.
Visa Variant – SBI Card offers the credit card on the Visa payment network as well. However, this variant does not provide lounge visits, Rupay offers and charges a joining fee of Rs. 500. Other features remain the same.

The RuPay variant of SBI IRCTC Credit Card offers some special privileges to its users such as Railway lounge access. Users can enjoy 4 complimentary railway lounge access in a year to participating lounges in India. A maximum of 1 lounge visit can be availed in a quarter. Besides that, the rest of the features are almost similar to the SBI IRCTC Platinum Credit Card variant. This implies that this card is best suited for those book railway tickets worth Rs. 50,000 or more in a year. Only 1 reward point is provided on every Rs. 125 spent which can easily be the lowest in any category. You should get this card if SBI IRCTC cards are meant for you only if you travel a lot through trains. You can consider other similar credit cards if you wish to enjoy benefits across different categories like shopping, travel, entertainment, etc.
You must meet the eligibility criteria that are set by SBI Card. The criteria include but are not limited to income, age, nationality (Resident Indian/NRI) and place of residence. Besides this, you must have a good credit score without any defaults on loan payments.
