+91Aadhaar card has become one of the most important documents provided by the government that can be used as proof of identity and proof of address. Linking mobile number with Aadhaar enables one to receive all updates related to Aadhaar on their mobile through SMS. A registered mobile number is also required when using the mAadhaar app. You can register mobile number in Aadhaar at the time of Aadhaar enrolment. If you have missed providing your mobile number at the time of enrolment, you can get it registered by visiting the Aadhaar centre later.
