Mobile subscribers can link their connections with Aadhaar either through the OTP method or by visiting the operator’s store. Prepaid customers can link their mobile numbers by visiting a Tata Docomo retailer and postpaid customers can link their Aadhaar by visiting the Tata Docomo store. The operator does not charge any fee from the customer for re-verifying or the link mobile number with Aadhaar.

How to Link Tata Docomo Mobile Number with Aadhaar through OTP

Aadhaar linking with mobile through OTP takes 48 hours for successful re-verification. Mobile subscribers will be able to avail this facility only when the mobile number is registered with UIDAI. You can link your Tata Docomo mobile number with Aadhaar by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Call 14546 from your Tata Docomo mobile number
Step 2: Select the option whether you are an Indian or an NRI
Step 3: Press 1 to allow your operator to initiate the Aadhaar linking process
Step 4: Now enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number
Step 5: Press 1 to confirm
Step 6: The operator tells the last 4 digits of your mobile number
Step 7: Press 1 to confirm that you are an existing customer
Step 8: An OTP will be sent to your number registered with UIDAI
Step 9: Enter this OTP to authenticate your details
Step 10: Press 1 to complete the Aadhaar reverification process
Step 11: A confirmation message will be sent to you on your re-verified mobile number

Steps to Link Aadhaar with Tata Docomo Mobile Number Offline

Tata Docomo mobile users who have not registered their mobile numbers with Aadhaar can avail this facility for re-verification. Also, if your connection is active in a circle other than the circle where it was issued, you will have to visit the Tata Docomo centre for re-verification. Prepaid customers have to visit the retailer whereas postpaid users have to visit the company’s store for availing this facility. Here’s how you can link your Tata Docomo mobile number with Aadhaar offline:

Step 1: Visit Tata Docomo retailer/store
Step 2: Carry a self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card with you
Step 3: Provide your mobile number to the executive
Step 4: The executive sends an OTP to your mobile number
Step 5: Provide this OTP to the executive for verification
Step 6: Now provide your fingerprint for authentication
Step 7: A message is sent to your mobile number within 48 hours
Step 8: Reply with “Y” to complete the re-verification process
Step 9: A confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number after successful re-verification of your mobile number with Aadhaar.
