• Visit an Aircel store in your area
• Carry a self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card
• Provide your mobile number to the executive.
• The executive sends an OTP to your phone number
• Provide this 4-digit OTP to the executive
• Now provide your Aadhaar number
• Give your fingerprints for Aadhar verification
• You will get a confirmation message on your Aircel mobile
• Reply with ‘Y’ to complete the e-KYC process.

The government has asked Telecom Service Providers (TSP) to provide facilities so that people can link their Aircel mobile number with Aadhaar through the IVR facility from the comforts of their home. Here’s how you can link your Aircel mobile number with Aadhaar for SIM verification:

• Call Aircel’s toll-free number
• Follow IVR instructions carefully
• Select the “Link your mobile with Aadhaar” option
• Now enter your Aadhaar number and confirm it
• Your mobile number will be verified with Aadhaar
• A confirmation message will be sent to your mobile number.

How to Link Aadhaar with Aircel Mobile Number through OTP

Aircel mobile users also can link their phone number with Aadhaar through the OTP method. The OTP will be sent by UIDAI after verification of the mobile number. However, to avail this facility, the mobile number of the user should have been already registered with the UIDAI. In case you have multiple Aircel numbers, you will not be able to link all numbers through the OTP method. For linking the numbers not already linked with Aadhaar, you will have to visit the Aircel store for re-verification of unlinked mobile numbers.

A . Yes, you have to link all Aircel mobile numbers with Aadhaar. You can either go to the Aircel store/retailer or call the toll-free number for linking your mobile using the OTP method.
Q 5. I have submitted my Aadhaar card as a proof of identity while taking the connection. Do I have to link it again?
A . If you had provided your biometric data (fingerprint) for Aadhaar verification as the proof of identity, then you do not have to go for Aadhaar re-verification process.  However, if you had provided your Aadhaar card as proof but did not provide your biometric details, you will have to go for Aadhaar re-verification.
Q 6. Aircel number linking to Aadhaar is mandatory now. I don’t have Aadhaar yet, what should I do?
