I have to update Biometric data as finger print does not match original data. I was told to wait upto 20th July 2023 till new version is launched. Please clarify. My document registration is held up from 5th July 23
Please visit a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre and request for updating biometrics in Aadhaar card. Booking appointment online beforehand would help skip the queue and save time.
Hello,
I wanted to create my babys aadhar card with 2 last name. That includes both mother’s and father’s last name. Is this valid?
When I went to aadhar card center they mentioned baby can never have 2 last name it can only have mother’s or father’s last name
You can have the mother’s name as the middle name and the father’s name as the last name.
There is no change in aadhar details updation is required or not
In case you had enrolled for Aadhaar before 10 years, it is advisable that you update your documents in Aadhaar. However, it is not mandatory to do so in case there is no change in your Aadhaar details.

To update/correct the surname in your child’s Aadhaar card, visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra and request for the same. Do remember to carry your child’s birth certificate, your Aadhaar card along with any other acceptable proof of your identity in original. You will need to pay a fee of Rs. 50 to get your child’s surname corrected/updated in his/her Aadhaar card.
