My Aadhar card is not linked with Mobile Number. Can I open 0 Balance account
Hi Vipin, as per the Supreme Court of India, it is not mandatory to link your bank account with Aadhaar Card to open a new bank account. However, you should link your mobile number with Aadhaar for various services such as you can e-verify the income tax return using your Aadhaar number wherein an OTP is sent to the linked mobile number. You can easily update your personal details online using your linked Aadhaar by entering an OTP sent to your mobile number.
Hi Ojasvini. Is this list valid in 2020? Or have there been any changes?
