• If you do not have an SBI bank account, visit any SBI branch and open your bank account with SBI.
• Once you have a bank account, you can register yourself for Net banking facility at SBI branch.
• You need to provide your mobile number at SBI branch which will be treated as “Registered Mobile Number” for your net banking transactions.
• After successful registration of net banking facility at SBI branch, you will receive Pre Printed Kit (PPK). Alternatively, the bank will arrange to send PPK at your residential address.
• You can use user ID and password mentioned in Pre Printed Kit (PPK) to log in first time with SBI Net banking facility.
• Upon your first login, you will be guided to change user id and password of your choice.
• It is advisable to create the password that is easy to remember for you, but impossible to guess for anyone else. Never use passwords like 1234, abcd or your name. It must be a combination of upper and lower case, numbers and special characters. For secrecy of the password, don’t write the password anywhere but memorize the same.
• The process is self-guided, on your part, you need to keep your bank account details, customer id, debit card and registered mobile number ready with you. You need to enter the details as requested in the process.

• Never inform your password with any person, including bank The password is confidential to you for the security of your account.
• If you change your mobile number, make sure to visit your bank and apply for a change in registered mobile number.
• It is recommended to avoid using SBI Net banking when your device is connected to public WiFi. Your net banking credentials may be stolen by unidentified people in public network.
