How to Generate ATM PIN at Bank’s ATM?

Visit the nearest ATM of the bank where the individual holds an account. Insert the ATM card into the ATM Machine and choose the “Change PIN” or “Generate ATM PIN” option. Usually, there are three methods of verification depending upon the bank that the account holder is holding the account with:

  • Account holder might be required to enter the temporary ATM PIN provided by the bank at the time of account opening or later received by post.
  • Account holders can also verify using OTP authentication. The OTP is sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP at the ATM to change or generate the ATM PIN.
  • Account holders might also be required to enter details like registered mobile number, and account number to generate ATM PIN in no time.

Once the account holder’s request is verified, he/she can set the PIN as required.

How to Generate PIN via Net Banking?

Account holders can also use the net banking portal to generate the Green PIN. Account holders need to be registered for Internet banking for the account that is linked to the debit card to avail this facility. Follow these steps to generate the ATM PIN using the net banking portal:

  • Log in to the net banking portal with the username and password provided
  • Choose the account that the account holder wish to generate the ATM PIN
  • Then choose the “ATM Card Services” option
  • Click on “Generate New ATM”
  • Enter the desired ATM PIN
  • Following this, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification
  • Once the request is verified, the account holder will be able to use the new ATM PIN
