Adhering to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the banks in India keep their 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays non-operational every month. However, the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday remain operational (unless it is observed as a public holiday or some other restricted holiday). NEFT Holidays

According to the recent notification released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the NEFT payment service is now available to the users 24×7, throughout the year. NEFT can now be accessed on any day of the year (including bank holidays) just like IMPS. The fund transferred by NEFT gets settled in half-hourly batches, unlike IMPS where there is instant transfer of funds from one bank account to another.

RTGS Holidays

The RTGS payment remains non-operational on all 2nd and 4th Saturday and all Sundays of every month, as provided by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The funds via RTGS are settled in real-time and on gross basis. Given below is the list of RTGS Holidays in the month of September 2020.
