Aadhaar Seva Kendra

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched ‘Aadhaar Seva Kendra’ or ‘ASK’an exclusive single-stop destination for aadhaar services for its Indian citizens. With this exclusive set up, the UIDAI offers Aadhaar Enrolment and update related services. In its first phase, the UIDAI has planned to set up 114 Aadhaar Seva Kendra across 53 cities all over India of which 28 ASK has been opened. These include metro cities, state capitals, and Union Territories. Aadhaar Seva Kendra will run along with 35,000 Aadhar Kendras which is already being run by banks, post offices, BSNL, and state governments.

ASK will be opened for all 7 days a week from 9:30 A.M to 5:30 P.M. However, one resident can book an appointment four times in a month. Aadhaar services are available for any resident of India including NRIs at ASK across the country.

Aadhaar Seva Kendra offers an easy and comfortable environment to the citizens of India through the air-conditioned facility, wheel-chair provisions for elderly or specially-abled residents. People can visit the ASK all 7 days of the week from 9:30 A.M to 5:30 P.M.

1. Aadhaar Enrolment
2. Demographic information update- Name, Address, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and E-mail ID.
3. Update of Biometric data- Photo, Fingerprints and Iris Scan
4. Download and Printing of Aadhaar

Charges of Aadhaar Services at Aadhaar Seva Kendra

The UIDAI has set certain charges for the residents who want to avail aadhaar related services at ASK. These charges are:

• Aadhaar Enrolment- Free
• Mandatory Biometric update for kids (at age 5 and 15 years) – FREE
• Any Demographic or Biometric Update by residents – Rs.50
• Download Aadhaar & Coloured Print – Rs.30

The above-mentioned charges are inclusive of all taxes. Residents can opt for cash payment at ‘Cash Counter’ available at ASK or can make an online payment at the time of booking an online appointment from the official website of UIDAI.

Step 2: Contact Help Desk or Show Appointment Slip

Step 3: Go to Token Desk

Step 4: Move to Verifier

Step 5: Make payment at Cash Counter

Step 6: Update/Enrolment at Operator Desk

Each Aadhaar Seva Kendra has an Operations Manager and a Centre Manager to enquire about any grievances. The last token for any day is given at 5:30 P.M. every day.
