Vijaya Bank is a public sector bank in India. Customers can visit the bank during its working hours. But, they should be aware of the Vijaya Bank Timings before visiting the bank branch.
Post lockdown, in August, Vijaya Bank has reinstated its normal operating hours, i.e. 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday. Extra precautions are being taken by the bank regarding sanitization and social distancing.
Previously, the bank had to suspend some of its non-essential services temporarily. But, all the services have now been resumed. The bank is still suggesting its customers should use digital banking platforms such as internet banking, Vijaya Bank mobile banking and UPI- BHIM to perform transactions.
NEFT transactions will be processed from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on working days. Also, customers can access NEFT services via Vijaya Bank Net-banking 24×7. No charges will be levied on the transfer of funds online via NEFT system.
RTGS facility is available at Vijaya Bank from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM every day except Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
Customers can also use Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), available 24×7, for fund transfer to other banks.

Customers should visit the bank during the working hours of the bank only. The operational days are weekdays, 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday of the month. On these days you can clear cheques, process fund transfers, visit the lockers, etc. However, the bank will remain closed on 2nd, 4th Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Vijaya Bank gives its employees half an hour of lunch break. The lunch break starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 2:30 PM. The bank does not conduct business during this time and should be avoided.
Vijaya Bank processes its NEFT transactions in hourly batches which are processed in the time frame:

Vijaya Bank provides locker facility to its customers. The safe deposit locker facility can be used during the bank’s operative hours only; the bank does not grant extra time over the normal working hours to use this service. Applicants for locker service should visit the bank during the business hours only.
