The Reserve Bank of India or RBI releases the list of bank holidays each year and every bank complies with it. Given below is the complete list of bank holidays in July 2020. It is to be noted that the public and other restricted holidays differ from one region to another. According to the RBI, all the banks in India remain non-operational on 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays of every month.

Note: It is to be noted that in addition to the above mentioned holidays, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays in a month are bank holidays, as provided by the RBI.
Upon the RBI’s declaration, it is to be noted that all banks in India remain closed on every 2nd and 4th Saturday and all Sundays of each month in a year. Moreover, the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday remains operational, unless it’s not a public or some restricted holiday. Following is the list of bank holidays on Saturdays in July 2020.

NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) is based on Deferred Net Settlement (DNS) and facilitates the transfer of funds from one bank branch to another. According to the latest update by RBI, the NEFT service is now available for 24×7, 365 days (including bank holidays). Fund transfers through the NEFT system do not occur on real-time basis but it settles in half-hourly batches.
RTGS is an online fund transfer mode that is meant for high-value fund transactions and the transfer for the same is done on a real-time basis and on gross basis. As per the guidelines of the RBI, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays of every month are RTGS holidays. Following is the list of RTGS holidays in July 2020.
