The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of bank holidays for the year 2020. Given below is the list of all the bank holidays in April 2020, provided by the RBI. As per the declaration of RBI in the year 2015, all banks in India will remain closed on all public holidays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays of every calendar month. Also, all the listed bank holidays in April 2020 differ from one region to another.

Note: It is to be noted that in addition to the above mentioned holidays, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays in a month are bank holidays, as provided by RBI.
According to the declaration by the RBI in 2015, all banks in India will remain closed on 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all Sundays of every month. The 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of every month remain operational. Following is the list of bank holidays on Saturdays in the month of April 2020.

To provide hassle-free banking services to the customers, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has made the NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) service available for 24×7, 365 days. The NEFT payment service enables the settlement of funds in half-hourly batches. The service like IMPS can now be accessed 24×7, throughout the year (including bank holidays).
However the RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement) service cannot be accessed on 2nd & 4th Saturday and all Sundays of every month in a year. Apart from that, there are certain state-wise RTGS holidays during which the regional offices remain closed. Mentioned below is the list of RTGS Holidays in April 2020.
