As per RBI notification to banks, the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month is a bank holiday. Customers who need to initiate transactions or have other bank-related work can visit their nearest bank branches on weekdays or on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of every month, provided there is no other bank holiday falling on these days. In April 2019, banks will be closed in different States on the 6th, 13th and 27th Saturdays.
