Andhra Bank IMPS Charges

There are three types of payments that you can make using Andhra Bank IMPS facility:

• Phone to Phone or P2P: The funds are transferred using the MMID and phone number of the beneficiary.
• Phone to Account or P2A: The funds are transferred using the account number and the IFSC code of the beneficiary.
• Phone to Merchant: The IMPS facility is used to make bill payments or to make online shopping payments.

Every P2P and P2A transfer that you make using IMPS will incur a charge of Rs.5 plus GST. All P2M transfers are completely free of cost.

IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) facility is an extremely useful funds transfer option that allows you to make instant money transfers. Besides this, you have several benefits of using Andhra Bank IMPS services:

• IMPS transfers can be made 24X7. There are no timing restrictions on this facility.
• IMPS transactions are settled even on bank holidays and on Sundays.
• The unique MMID ensures that you have fewer chances of wrong transactions.
• Andhra Bank IMPS charges levied on transfers are quite nominal.
• The amount transferred will reflect in the beneficiary account within 30 minutes.

There are two options to make an individual IMPS transfer as mentioned above. The details that you need for each type of transaction are as follows:

Phone to Phone

• Beneficiary name
• Beneficiary mobile number
• Beneficiary MMID

Phone to Account

• Beneficiary name
• Beneficiary account number
• Beneficiary IFSC Code

In order to make utility payments or other merchant transfers, provide the details given to you by the merchant. In case of credit card payments, the credit card account number and IFSC code may be used to make the transfer.

In order to make IMPS transfers, use the following steps:

• Log on to your net banking or mobile banking account.
• Under “Funds Transfer” choose IMPS.
• Then choose either “MMID” or “IFSC” option to provide beneficiary details.
• Enter the beneficiary details and the amount.
• Provide your MPIN and click on submit.
• You will receive a notification for the transaction on your registered mobile number.
• Once the transaction is complete, the remitter and the beneficiary will receive a confirmation via SMS.

Using the Andhra Bank IMPS services you can make fund transfers of up to Rs.2 Lakh per transaction.
