ICICI Bank Launches Services for NRIs in US to Open Savings Accounts Online

ICICI Bank recently launched online account opening facility for non-resident Indians residing in the US. To open the NRI savings account, customers just need to fill the application form available on the bank’s website. Subsequently, they will be required to scan and upload the necessary documents, i.e. age proof, passport, address proof, visa, salary slips, along with your photograph and signature. The bank has eliminated the hassle of sending any physical document across continents.

After the verification of documents, the bank will open the savings account within two working days. Debit card and other deliverables will be posted to the customer’s registered address.
