HSBC Credit Card Payment through Netbanking

HSBC accountholders can make their credit card bill payment online through the netbanking facility. However, the cardholder has to register for HSBC netbanking facility before making the payment. They have to follow the steps mentioned below to make the bill payment instantly:

• Login to the HSBC netbanking account by clicking here
• In the cards section, select your credit card from the drop-down
• Select the “Pay and Transfer” option and enter the amount to be paid
• Confirm the request and make the payment instantly
• The amount will be credited to the account and a confirmation message will be sent to the cardholder through email and SMS

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through Mobile Banking

HSBC netbanking users can utilize HSBC mobile banking for credit card bill payment online. Follow the steps for HSBC credit card payment through mobile banking:

• Open the HSBC mobile banking app in your smartphone
• Login using your primary and secondary password
• In the “Credit Cards” section, select the option
• Choose your payment option (Total Amount Due, Minimum Amount Due or Other Amount)
• Pay the amount and submit your request
• A confirmation message will be sent on the registered mobile number and email address

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through Visa Money Transfer

Visa credit cardholders can make the HSBC credit card payment through Visa Money Transfer by following the steps mentioned below:

• Login to your bank’s netbanking account
• Select the “Visa Money Transfer” option
• You will have to add the card first. This is a one-time process though
• Once you add the card through “Add Billers” section, you can make the payment directly through your account
• Enter the amount that has to be paid and make the payment instantly
• The steps for fund transfer may vary from one bank to another

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through NEFT using IFSC Code

• One can pay HSBC credit card bill through NEFT as well
• When transferring funds through NEFT, enter the credit card number in account number
• The IFSC code for HSBC credit cards is HSBC0400002
• Enter the amount and make the payment

It is worth mentioning that there will not be an option for Minimum Amount Due, Total Amount Due, etc. and the user will have to make the payment of a specified amount only.

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through RTGS using HSBC Credit Card IFSC Code

To pay HSBC credit card bill using RTGS, customers must first add their HSBC card to the list of beneficiaries. The steps for this are given below:

Add HSBC Card as Beneficiary

• Login to your preferred bank’s net banking portal
• Go to Funds Transfer section
• Click on Add-beneficiary
• Provide the following details
  • Beneficiary Name – Name as printed on the credit card
  • Account Number – 16 digit credit card number
  • HSBC Credit Card IFSC Code – HSBC0400002

It might take up to an hour for the bank to add a beneficiary.

Payment

• Login to your Bank’s net banking account
• Go to funds transfer section and select RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement)
• Select the credit card from the list of beneficiaries and check all the details
• Enter the amount and make the payment

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through Electronic Clearing System

• Electronic clearing system allows a bank to debit the amount directly from a bank account for a specified sum every month
• The cardholder has to authorize any bank to debit the required amount directly from the bank account
• It is not required to make the payment manually every month
• Some banks also give cashback on setting up ECS for credit card bill payment

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through BillDesk

Cardholders can pay HSBC credit card bills through BillDesk quite easily in 3 simple steps as mentioned below:

• Visit HSBC’s BillDesk Portal by clicking here and select the “Pay Now” button
• Enter required details such as credit card number, type, email ID, mobile number, payment amount, bank account, etc. and submit your request
• Login to your netbanking account and confirm the payment
• Your payment will be done instantly
• A confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through Standing Instructions

• HSBC account holders can set up standing instructions for the bank to debit the amount every month from their HSBC account
• One can set the standing instructions either through netbanking, mobile banking, phonebanking or by visiting the bank
• Standing instructions can be revoked anytime and one can start making the payment through any other method as well
• Standing instructions allow you to make the payment automatically

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through UPI using HSBC Credit Card IFSC Code

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) can also be used to clear HSBC credit card bills. Cardholders can use UPI ID or Account number and Credit Card IFSC Code to pay the bill.

Registration

To register follow the steps given below:

• Download and Login to the App that supports UPI payments
• Enter the mobile number to register
• Enter bank account details like Credit Card IFSC Code, bank name
• Set UPI ID and PIN

Payment

• Login to the app
• Go to UPI Payments section
• Click on Send Money
• Enter the Account number and HSBC credit card IFSC Code
• Enter the amount, Remarks, and then pay

HSBC credit cardholders, who are not adept in using internet, can make the bill payment offline as well. There are four such methods – phonebanking, mail cheque/draft, ATM and by visiting the branch.

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through Phonebanking

• HSBC credit cardholders can make the bill payment through phonebanking as well
• Cardholders can make a call to 1860 108 7788 or 1860 500 2277, verify using the PIN and ask the bank to debit the amount directly from the bank account
• The amount is debited instantly and a confirmation message is sent to the cardholder on the registered mobile number and email ID

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through Mail Cheque/Draft

• A cardholder can make the credit card bill payment through cheque/demand draft as well
• The cardholder has to send the amount to the nearest HSBC branch before the deadline ends
• In case the cheque/demand draft reaches the bank after the deadline, the bank may charge late payment fee from the cardholder
• It is not required to send the cheque/draft to the home branch

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through ATM

• A cardholder can deposit cash at any HSBC ATM against the credit card before the deadline ends
• One can also deposit a cheque at an HSBC ATM for the credit card bill payment
• Alternatively, the cardholder can make fund transfer through the debit card towards the credit card account

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment through the Bank Branch

• HSBC accountholders can make the credit card payment by visiting the branch as well
• Payment can be done through cash or cheque
• The payment has to be done before the deadline ends
