Major Changes on Axis Bank Credit Cards

Axis Bank has announced revisions in the features and related terms and conditions of some of its credit cards, including Axis Flipkart, Magnus for Burgundy, Reserve, Neo, Select, Rewards and Privilege. These updates will come into effect in phases this year in the months of June, July and October and are related to the rewards structure, brand/platform offers and lounge access benefit which would affect the overall value-back that the cardholders can avail.

In addition the card-specific updates, there are some common changes that will be applicable on all the above-mentioned Axis Bank Credit Cards, as shown below:

• Effective 20th June 2025, transactions excluded from the rewards/cashback earnings and spend-based fee waiver or milestone bonus will be defined by spending category names instead of 4-digit MCC
• Effective 1st October 2025, Axis Bank will hold the right to forfeit the accrued EDGE Reward Points or EDGE Miles if they are not redeemed till 30 days after card closure or if the minimum amount due is left unpaid for more than 90 days

Axis Bank Privilege Credit Card

Axis Privilege credit cardholders can now avail a movie discount offer from 20th June 2025 onwards, as given below:

Buy 1 get 1 free movie ticket of up to Rs. 250 on District app, once a month.

This offer can be applied using the code ‘AXISPRIVILEGE’

Flipkart Axis bank Credit Card

From 20th June 2025, cashback and lounge access benefits on Flipkart Axis credit will be updated as given below:

Changes in Cashback Earnings-

• 1% cashback on Myntra spends is revised to 7.5% cashback of up to Rs. 4,000 per quarter
• Cashback earnings will now be capped at Rs. 4,000 per quarter each for spends made on Flipkart, Cleartrip and Myntra respectively

Change in Lounge Access – The complimentary access to domestic airport lounges will be discontinued. 

Axis Bank Select Credit Card

The following updates will be implemented from 20th June 2025 regarding platform offers for Axis Select credit cardholders:

Addition of Movie Offer – Buy 1 get 1 free movie ticket worth up to Rs. 250 on District app, twice a month. This offer can only be applied using the promocode ‘AXISSELECT’

Change in BigBasket Offer – The minimum transaction value to avail BigBasket offer of Rs. 500 off per month has been revised from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 2,500.

Axis Bank Magnus Credit Card

The terms and conditions related to the reward earnings offered on monthly spends made using Axis Magnus and Magnus for Burgundy credit cards will be changed from 20th June 2025 onwards, as discussed below:

Spending Limit for Accelerated Reward Rate – 35 EDGE Reward Points per Rs. 200 spent after reaching cumulative monthly spends of Rs. 1.5 lakh, up to the assigned card limit per month

Axis Bank Reserve Credit Card

Though the rewards rate largely remains the same for Axis Reserve credit cardholders, certain terms and conditions are going to be implemented from 20th June 2025 onwards:

Rewards Rate on International Spends – 30 EDGE Reward Points per Rs. 200 spent on international transactions, up to the monthly credit limit.

Once this monthly spending threshold is crossed, the base reward rate of 15 EDGE reward points per Rs. 200 spent is applicable on international spends made in that month.

Axis Bank Neo Credit Card

Discount offer on Zomato available to Axis Neo credit card users will be updated from 1st July 2025 onwards as given below:

The previous 40% off, up to Rs. 120 per order, on min. order value of Rs. 200 will be updated to flat Rs. 120 off on min. order value of Rs. 499, where the min. order value excludes GST, delivery fee and other applicable charges.

This offer will continue being offered twice a month using the code AXISNEO.

Axis Rewards Credit Card

The Swiggy discount offer on Axis Rewards credit card will undergo the following revision from 1st July 2025 onwards:

The offer of 30% discount of up to Rs. 150 per order on minimum order value of Rs. 200, applicable twice per month, is changed to flat Rs. 150 off on min. order value of Rs. 500, twice a month.

Here, if the order is placed and paid for and then cancelled, it will still be counted towards the monthly cap of 2 orders for this offer.
