UCO Bank Kisan Credit Card

With the primary goal of helping farmers manage their expenses easily, this card comes with several beneficial features such as:

• Multiple uses for farmers to manage agriculture and related expenses. This card fulfils all the monetary needs towards post-harvest expenses, produce marketing loans, investments for agriculture and other allied activities that include rearing dairy animals and sprayers.
• The crop loan provided through UCO Bank Kisan Credit Card depends upon multiple factors such as the scale of finance for the type of crop being cultivated along with the insurance premium, the extent of the cultivated land. Farmers get an additional 10% on post-harvest consumption and also household requirements along with 20% towards any maintenance costs.
• From the date of issuance, the card is valid for 5 years.
• You have the provision of escalation in each consecutive year based on the escalation in expenses. You can get an additional 10% on the current limit to manage inflation.
• You do not have to provide any separate margin,
• The assessment procedure is quite simple, making it easier for farmers to avail loans and other benefits.
• To help improve repayment capacity, you have the option of the incentive subvention and interest subvention deal that reduces the rate of interest.
• The documentation process is very simple making it easier for all farmers to avail these benefits.
• It is not mandatory to bring the debit balance to NIL in your UCO Bank Kisan Credit Card account.

Some eligibility criteria must be fulfilled in order to avail a UCO Bank Kisan Credit Card. These criteria are as follows:

• The applicant should be above 18 years of age and must be a resident of India
• Every farmer, whether a joint borrower or an individual, can apply for a UCO Bank Kisan Credit Card as long as he is an owner-cultivator
• Farmers who belong to Joint Liability Groups, Self Help Groups or are tenant farmers or sharecroppers can apply for the UCO Bank Kisan Credit Card

It is possible to apply for a UCO Bank Kisan Credit Card in any rural or semi-urban branch of UCO Bank. It is necessary for the villages to be allocated under the Annual Credit Plan Scheme to apply at the given branch. In order to apply for a card, the following documents must be furnished:

• A duly filled application form with signature
• Land documents if needed.
• KYC documents- ID proof and address proof which includes PAN card, Voters ID, Adhaar Card, PAN Card or passport.
• Security PDC, if available.
