Air India SBI Platinum Card is one of the best credit cards for you, if you mostly choose to travel with Air India and  seek satisfactory rewards on a credit card. This credit card has a 2.25% rewards rate (5 points per Rs. 100 spent on Air India tickets, 1 reward point = 1 Airline mile = Rs. 0.45). As compared to other travel-centric credit cards, this rewards rate is pretty great. Additionally, relative to most travel cards, the card charges a lower annual fee (Rs. 1,500).

A nice collection of discounts are also available on the card, which will further cover the annual charge. In addition, the card provides 8 annual domestic lounge trips. However, the 0.90% rewards rate (2 points per Rs. 100, 1 Incentive Point = 1 Airline Mile = Rs. 0.45) on general spending, is below the industry average. How to convert reward points into Air India Miles?

You can contact SBI Card helpline number at 1860 180 1290  or 39020202, to convert reward points into  Air Miles. Reward Points are converted to Air India Air Miles in 7 working days from the date of receiving the request. These points, once converted into Air India Air Miles, cannot be reversed. Also, note that Air Mile redemption will be possible for a minimum of 5,000 reward points and in multiples of 5,000. 

What is Flexipay on Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card ?

Flexipay is a facility offered to you if you are an existing SBI credit cardholder,  to convert your big purchases into easy monthly instalments. You can convert a transaction greater than Rs. 500 into Flexipay within 30 days.
