They must mention the Application number and request for the current status of their credit card. The Customer Care representative might ask a few questions (such as mobile number, Date of Birth etc.) to verify the identity of the caller.

Data Not Found- This happens when an applicant enters the wrong data in the application status search bar.
On Hold- This means that the credit card request has been halted due to some reason. Common reasons include lack of documents or missing verification. Some internal process of the bank may also be involved.
Approved- This means that the application has received the approval of higher authorities but is still to be printed and sent to the customer’s address.
Rejected- Clearly, this means that the bank has rejected the request for credit card. The most common reason is that the bank is not convinced with the data furnished by the applicant. Sometimes, the bank may also find the customer too risky for a credit card and this reject the application.
Dispatched- This IndusInd bank credit card status will be shown when the bank has dispatched the card via post to the customer’s address. Order tracking ID of the postal service may also be provided at this stage.
