Bank of Maharashtra provides credit card in association with SBI Cards. Customers get to enjoy the benefits of SBI Card and the trustworthiness of Bank of Maharashtra. Customers who wish to avail their credit cards must be aware of Bank of Maharashtra credit card eligibility criteria. The criteria are listed below.

Age – Customers who want to avail Bank of Maharashtra credit cards must be between the ages of 21 and 65. Banks prefer giving credit cards to those customers who are able-bodied and have a stable source of income. Salaried employees retire by the age of 60 and self-employed people generally take retirement by age of 65 years. Customers above the mentioned age cannot apply for a credit card.
Prior Relationship – Bank of Maharashtra credit cards are only provided to those customers that have maintained a prior relationship with the bank. Any type of relationship will do.
Income – Bank of Maharashtra credit card is only given to customers who have a steady source income. Customers will have to establish proof of income by submitting their salary slips. Self Employed customers will have to submit their Income Tax Returns (ITR). Do note that customer’s income determines the credit limit offered on their credit card.
Credit Score – Credit Score shows how financially responsible an applicant is. So, an applicant with a higher credit score will find it easier when it comes to getting credit card application approval. Also, premium credit cards are not given to customers who don’t have a credit score. Also, it is recommended that customers should try and maintain a credit score over 750.
The documents required to avail a Bank of Maharashtra credit card are:

The factors that affect Bank of Maharashtra credit card eligibility are:
Prior Relationship – Customers who have maintained a satisfactory relationship with the bank have a better chance of securing a credit card. The Bank can know in great detail about the customer’s financial status. Customers who meet the bank’s guide line will find it easier when it comes to credit card application.
Income – The income affects the applicant’s chances of credit card approval. As some credit card have a minimum income criterion. Customers who do not reach the minimum income threshold can not avail that credit card. Also, it is the applicant’s income which ultimately determines the credit limit extended to the user.
Credit Score – Customer’s credit score reflects two things; financial responsibility and credit hunger. Bank’s like to provide credit cards to those customers who are not credit hungry and financially responsible. It is only such individuals who have a high credit score and who eventually have an easier time securing a credit card.
Does a prior relationship with the bank help user’s eligibility for credit card?
Yes, in fact Bank of Maharashtra will not give credit card to applicants who do not have an account with the bank. Do note that Bank of Maharashtra does not specify a required type of account, any account will do.
