Union Bank of India offers this unique loyalty program called as “Union Rewardz” for each of its credit card holders. Based on this program, the bank offers several opportunities for the customers to earn gifts & rewards for every purchase. If you are a credit card holder with Union Bank and also an Indian resident, then you would be automatically registered for the Union Rewardz program. How does these reward points help? Active customers are allowed to redeem accumulated points in return for air tickets, movie tickets, merchandise, gifts, vouchers etc., by accessing the UnionRewardz website. In order to initiate redemptions, credit card holders need to register their respective cards with the membership account under Union Rewardz.

Earning Reward Points with Union Rewardz Scheme

Union Bank of India credit card reward points can be gathered for every Rs 100 a customer spends at any merchant outlet or PoS terminal. These points can be acquired on transactions made within India & abroad after using a valid credit card offered by Union Bank. The accumulated Union Points are offered with a fixed validity of 3 years. Union Points which are received by you do get credited to your account within 7 working days.

Steps to Redeem Union Points

Customers at Union Bank can redeem collected Union Points by using their membership accounts on the official UnionRewardz site (www.UnionRewardz.com).

In order to process redemption, you are required to maintain at least 100 Union Points to make the first redemption. These points should be redeemed under three years, since they will perish post that period. Union points are redeemed for items such as:

• Mobile Recharge
• DTH Recharge
• Bus Ticket Bookings
• Booking Movie Tickets
• Booking Airline Tickets
• Payment of Credit Card Bills
• Merchandise available from rewards catalogue online

Booking Airline Tickets

Credit card holders are permitted to make bookings for domestic air ticket by simply cashing in Union Points through the www.unionrewardz.com. You can redeem airline tickets for a maximum of 6 passengers through a single transaction. Moreover, customers also hold the leverage to make redemptions aimed at gifting airline tickets to friends and family members. There isn’t any mandate time frame necessary for accessing the air travel. Airline ticket redemptions are confirmed under 24 hours; also, they cannot be modified or cancelled.

Payment of Credit Card Bill

Credit card holders with Union Bank can easily pay outstanding bills through the redemption of Union Points. This process is accessed in three rapid steps.

• Firstly, the customer is required to provide his/her 16 digit credit card number together with the exact amount which needs to be paid.
• Later, the card holder needs to verify and validate the transaction essentials which do contain the reward points that are used for redemption.
• Once the payment is done, the customer would be offered an online receipt which will be delivered via email or SMS.

Movie Ticket Booking

If you are a credit card holder with Union Bank of India, then you can actively utilize Union Bank of India credit card reward points for booking movie tickets at any cinema hall of your choice. As per this service, up to 10 tickets are permitted to be booked, and there is also the convenience to modify the selected seats anytime during the transaction. An email confirmation would be sent to the customer once the booking is fixed. Do keep a note that, for movie bookings the Union Points are required to be re deemed four hours prior to the show timings.
