How to Update Address in SBI Credit Card

Update Address via Netbanking

The steps to update your address via Netbanking are:

1. Log in to SBI Card account, click here to go to their official website
2. Click on My Profile, present on the left hand side menu
3. Click on Address tab
4. Click on Edit
5. You may now change your address
6. Click on Generate OTP
7. Enter the OTP received on your Registered Mobile Number
8. Click on Submit to proceed

Upload the new address proof and, once accepted and verified, your address will be updated.

Update Address via Mobile Banking app

SBI Card allows you to change the address via the mobile app as well. You may download the app from here. The steps are:

1. Log in to the SBI Card mobile app
2. Select My Profile under menu
3. Click on Address
4. You can change your address now
5. Select Generate OTP
6. You will receive an OTP on your Registered Mobile Number, enter it
7. Finally, click on Submit

After this, you will receive an email and SMS regarding submission of address proof. Upload the same and once processed, your communication address will be updated.

Update Address via Email

You can update your address by sending an email to SBI Cards. The email address is https://www.sbicard.com/email.

Note: Attach a self-attested KYC document, reflecting the new address, with the email

Update via Courier

SBI Card gives you the option to change your address by sending a courier. Enclose a declaration form, downloaded it from here, and self-attested KYC documents. The courier must be addressed to:

Building 3, DLF Infinity Towers, Gurgaon-122002 (Haryana)

The list of acceptable documents to establish your new address is:

• Passport
• Voter’s Identity Card
• Driving Licence
• Aadhaar Card/Virtual ID
• ID Card issued by the Government
• Job card issued by NREGA
• Letter issued by the National Population Register
• Utility bill, not over 2 months old
• Property or Municipal Tax receipt
• Pension or family pension payment orders (PPOs)
• Departments or Public-Sector Undertakings
• Letter of allotment of accommodation issued by the Government or other recognised bodies

Note the KYC documents must reflect the new address.

How can I update the office address?
The option to change the office address is provided under the address section. Rest of the procedure remains the same.

Can I set my official address as the preferred form of communication?
Yes, you can set the official address as the preferred mode of communication. The steps are:

• Log in to sbicard.com
• Head to My Profile
• Select Address
• Under Official address Click on Set as communication address

Alternatively, you may send an email to sbicard.com or call at SBI Credit card helpline number.

How can I retrieve the password for my online portal of SBI Card?
Changing the password is simple. The steps are:

• Visit the SBI Card website
• Under login click on Forgot your User ID or Password
• Provide the necessary card details and click on Proceed
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process

Can rent agreement be considered as the proof?
You will have to submit a rent agreement along with any one of the above-given documents for proof of address.

Should I self-attest the required document?
Yes, you will have to self-attest the KYC documents. Otherwise, SBI Card will not update the details.
