How to Update Address in Kotak Credit Card

The various ways to update the address with Kotak Mahindra Bank are as follows:

Customer Care

If customers just wish to update address only for credit cards they can do so by calling on the 24×7 customer care number which is 1860 266 2666. It can take up to 10 days for changes to reflect.

Branch Visit

Customers can visit any of the nearby branches of the bank and carry along the relevant documents and a written application. The new address and the credit card number should be clearly mentioned. Submit the application and the changes will reflect in 7 working days.

Customers must carry proof for the new address. Following list of the documents will do:

  • Passport
  • Voter Id card
  • Driving license
  • Ration card
  • Aadhar card
  • Any utility bill no more than 3 months old
  • Any photo id issued by the state or the central government
  • Bank account passbook, updated and not more than 3 months old

Do note that customers will also have to submit self-attested photocopies of the document that they bring to the bank.

Can I update without Dynamic access code?
No, you will not be able to access profile details without the Dynamic Access Code.

I have recently shifted to a new place, what should I do in order to update the address with the bank?
If you have recently changed your place of residence then follow the below given steps:

  • Update your address with UIDAI (Aadhar Card), or any other Know Your Customer (KYC) document
  • Once your address has been updated in the KYC documents show them to the Kotak bank official and submit a photocopy as well

The changes will take 7 days to reflect in your bank account.

Can passbook without the mailing address be used as the proof?
Passbooks mention the address that was provided to the bank at the time of application. If the address has been smudged apply for a new passbook.

Can rent agreement be used as the address proof?
No, rent agreement cannot be used as address proof.
