Jammu and Kashmir Bank offers different credit cards to meet the diverse needs of modern Indians. Customers can expect to get the full benefits and privileges that have come to be associated with credit cards. Age – Jammu and Kashmir Bank gives credit card to only those individuals that can earn. Hence, only customers who are in the age bracket 21 to 65 years can apply.
Income – Jammu and Kashmir Bank provides credit cards to only those customers who are either salaried or self-employed. The income requirements are:
Credit Score – Customers that have a high credit score can easily get a Jammu and Kashmir credit card. Customers who do not have a credit score may still apply for a Jammu and Kashmir Bank credit card. However, the bank judges such applications on a case to case basis.

Following factors affect applicant’s chances of securing a credit card.
Income – Income affects the credit limit assigned to the user. Also, different J&K credit cards come with different minimum income requirements. So customers who do not meet the income requirement may not be able to avail certain credit cards.
Age – Age also affects applicants’ chances of securing a credit card. Customers who are in their prime have a better chance of securing a credit card. Also applicants who are below 21 years of age or above 65 years of age may not get a credit card.
Credit Score – Customers who have a low credit score have lower chance of securing a credit card as it shows how financially irresponsible or how credit hungry an applicant is. Customers with good credit score have a better chance of securing a credit card.
Does a prior relationship with the bank help user’s eligibility for credit card?
Jammu and Kashmir bank does not require applicants maintain a prior relationship before applying for a credit card. However, Applicants who have a prior relationship will find the application process quite easy. For instance, users might not be required to re-submit KYC documents, PAN details at the time of credit card application.
