ICICI Bank British Airways Premium Credit Card Account has been designed for regular flyers of British Airways. On first use of this card, the cardholder earns 8,000 points as a bonus and 9 credit points can be earned per ₹ 100 spent on this credit card. Purchases made every day through this card gives reward points to cardholders through which they can take their family on a trip by redeeming these points. Please note that ICICI Bank has discontinued this card so new issuance will not be made. However, existing cardholders can continue using them.

Features of ICICI Bank British Airways Premium Credit Card Account

This credit card offers the following features to its cardholder:

  • This card makes you a member of the British Airways Executive Club.
  • Within the first three months of getting the credit card if you book a return ticket on British Airways from India to London then 25,000 credit points will be rewarded on the card. These points would then make either one ticket free of cost or may upgrade the air ticket to business class.
  • Cardholders can get one of the two cards i.e. ICICI Bank British Airways American Express Credit Card and ICICI Bank British Airways MasterCard Credit Card which will serve the same purposes with differences in terms of certain offers.
  • Every month, this card provides you with 3 free movie tickets.
  • On planning to visit a restaurant, you can have a look at the ICICI Bank Culinary Treats program, which saves 15% on dining bills. The bank has created a mobile application of ICICI Bank Culinary Treats, which can be downloaded from Apple iStore or Google Play to utilise the benefits of the program.
  • You get a concierge service to look after your needs like reservation in restaurants, travel bookings, any deliveries of gift/flowers, hotel stay reservation, etc.
  • This card has a microchip which prevents the card being copied or duplicated. Personal Identification Number (PIN) is required every time transactions are done through this card.
  • 2.5% fuel surcharge waiver is also provided on the card.

Fees and Charges on ICICI Bank British Airways Premium Credit Card Account

Cardholders have to pay the following fees and charges to avail this card:

  • In the first year the cardholder has to pay a fee of ₹ 7,000 and from next year onwards a renewal fee of ₹ 7,000 is payable.
  • Bank charges no fees for another card.
  • 40% per month interest is charged by the bank on overdue balance and on cash advances too.
  • Late payment fees are charged by the bank on the total amount due on the card. If the balance is more than ₹ 100 but up to ₹ 500 then ₹ 100 is charged; if due is between ₹ 500 and ₹ 10,000 then ₹ 500 is charged and so on.
  • Interest-free credit period is provided for 18 to 48 days.
