The eligibility criteria for HSBC credit cards are:
Age – The age of applicant must be over 18 years but below 60 years.
Income – The annual income of customer must be Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum in order to avail HSBC credit card.
Credit Score – HSBC credit card can be availed by those people who have never taken out a loan or credit card. However, people who have a credit history must have a satisfactory credit score in order to avail HSBC credit card.
The documents required to avail a HSBC Bank credit card are:

Some of the other factors that affect customer’s chances of securing a HSBC credit card are:
Credit Cards Already Owned – Customers who already have a credit card have a better chance of securing a new one.
Credit Score – Better score increases the chance of getting a credit card approval.
Work Experience – Organisation details and work experience play a great role in getting a credit card application approval.
Credit History – Defaults on past loans, credit card bills or multiple credit inquiries reduce the credit score and hence, the chances of getting a credit card.
Debt to Income Ratio (DTI) – Lower debts means translates in to higher chances of credit card approval.
Is HSBC a good credit card?
HSBC Bank credit card offers lots of privileges and benefits which include balance transfer, movie offers, dining offers, lounge access, and so on. Also, the wide variety of credit cards will ensure that the customer gets a credit card which will reward their particular usage patterns.
What is the minimum salary requirement for HSBC credit card?
Applicant must be earning Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum. Applications of customers who earn less than this might be rejected.
How long will it take to get my HSBC credit card?
HSBC Credit card applications are processed within 7 working days. Customers will know whether their application was successful or not. Successful applicants can expect to receive their application within another 7 days. All in all customers can expect to receive their credit card within 14 working days.
Does HSBC offer secured credit cards?
HSBC Bank currently offers only unsecured credit cards. Credit cards against fixed deposit are not provided by HSBC Bank.
Can you withdraw cash from HSBC credit card?
Yes, customers can withdraw cash using their HSBC credit card. Do note that using a credit card to withdraw cash will incur a heavy fee in the form of cash withdrawal fee and finance charges which will be applicable from the day of withdrawal. Therefore, it is suggested that customers use their credit card to withdraw cash only in an emergency.
