In progress: This means that HSBC bank has received the application for credit card and is currently scrutinizing the application. Once the reviewing is done, the bank will update the status.

Dispatched: This status will be shown when the credit card has been dispatched to the place of correspondence provided by the applicant.
On hold: If, for some reason, the bank is not able to process the application or if there is some hindrance in the process of application, the status displayed in this case will be ‘on hold’. The status will change from on hold to approved or rejected.
Rejected: If the application of the individual is not approved for some reason, the status displayed will be ‘rejected’. In this case, the applicant ought to consult with the HSBC bank regarding the reasons for the rejection of his application. This happens mostly in cases when the applicant does not meet one or more criteria of eligibility for availing a credit card.
In case the status displays ‘no application found’, you may have to re-check the details entered by you and if they match with the details provided by you while making the credit card application.
