IDFC FIRST Power+ and ICICI HPCL Super Saver are two popular fuel credit cards in the market. While both cards offer up to 6.5% savings on HPCL fuel spends, they differ in their benefit structures. IDFC Power+ primarily offers these savings through reward points, whereas ICICI HPCL Super Saver combines reward points with fuel surcharge waiver.
Besides fuel, both cards also offer benefits on everyday spends such as groceries, departmental stores, and utility transactions, making them suitable for everyday spends. In addition to this, benefits on UPI spends make these cards a decent choice for small-value transactions as well.
Let’s compare IDFC Power+ and ICICI HPCL Super Saver to see which RuPay credit card offers better value across fuel, UPI, and other spends.

Both co-branded credit cards offer up to 6.5% savings on fuel spends at HPCL. However, while IDFC Power+ offers these savings via reward points, ICICI HPCL Super Saver splits it into reward points and a fuel surcharge waiver.
Despite offering similar value-back, ICICI HPCL Super Saver comes with some restrictions. It offers 4% cashback on HPCL fuel spends and 1.5% savings on payments via HP Pay app. An additional 1% savings is offered via fuel surcharge waiver, but only on spends between Rs. 400 and Rs. 4,000, which limits the overall value. On the other hand, IDFC FIRST Power+ offers 5% savings through reward points and 1.5% savings on HP Pay app payments, without any spend-based conditions.
Overall, both cards offer similar savings, but the key difference lies in the benefit structure. Consumers who prefer direct savings via cashback can opt for ICICI HPCL Super Saver, while those who can maximize reward points can choose IDFC Power+. However, with both cards, cardholders can maximize benefits only when paying via HP Pay app.
