CheQ AU Credit Card can be a great option for consumers who use the CheQ App for their monthly bill payments. This is particularly helpful for those who make travel bookings via CheQ because they earn higher rewards (12% CheQ Points) on these bookings along with a better redemption ratio on 2:1 on this category. Utility bill payments on CheQ also earn accelerated rewards but the redemption value drops to 4:1 in this category, reducing the overall value. The value-back on UPI spends is also competitive (2.5% CheQ Points) but not the best in the industry. Hence, if looking for cards with UPI benefit, consumers must explore other options as well.
Everything you need to know about this credit card
CheQ Points are the reward currency for the CheQ AU Credit Card. You earn 24 CheQ Points per Rs. 200 on Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, CheQ Travel, and utility bill payments; 10 points per Rs. 200 on several everyday categories; 5 points per Rs. 200 on UPI spends; and 2 points per Rs. 200 on other spends.
CheQ Points can be redeemed on the CheQ App for flights and hotels (2:1), shopping across 30+ brands (2:1), and utility bill payments (4:1).
CheQ App is India’s first LED credit card that glows green when you tap the card for payment. To get a card with LED feature, you have to pay a one-time additional fee of Rs. 999.
Since value-back is offered in the form of CheQ Points which can only be redeemed on the CheQ App, those who do not use the app will not be able to maximize the benefits. If you don’t use CheQ, you can explore other cards that align better with your needs.
While fuel spends do not earn any rewards, you can save up to Rs. 150 per month in the form of fuel surcharge waiver.
