Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) was established in 1921 as the Nadar bank and it re-established itself as TMB In 1962. Account holders can perform a wide range of banking activities using the TMB net banking. The TMB net banking platform, referred to as TMB econnect, offers several services such as balance enquiry, funds transfer, downloading account statement, bill payment, tax payment, and status enquiry to its customers.

How to Register for TMB econnect?
Follow the below mentioned steps to get registered for TMB econnect:
Step 1: One needs to visit TMB with all the bank details and registered mobile number.
Step 2: Fill up all the details in the netbanking form with the correct mobile number as the same will be treated as “Registered Mobile Number” for future transactions.
Step 3: Submit the form and wait for the bank to activate the netbanking registration.
Step 4: After the activation of the netbanking facility, visit the login page of the bank.
Step 5: Click on “Register for New User”.
Step 6: Read and accept terms and conditions by clicking on the “Agree” button.
Step 7: Enter the bank account number, date of birth, PAN number and verification code and click on the “Continue” button.
Step 8: Enter the OTP (One Time Password) received on the registered mobile number to activate the netbanking account.
An account holder of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank who has the knowledge of browsing the internet and having a valid email ID is eligible for TMB eConnect facility.
Follow the below mentioned steps to reset TMB netbanking password:
Step 1: Go to the login page of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank.
Step 2: Click on “Forgot Password”.
Step 3: Enter the Account Number and the verification code and click on ”Continue”.
Step 4: Answer the secret questions set previously.
The process will be self-guided to create the new password.

Q. How to Recover TMB econnect password if forgotten?
A. By clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ option on the login page, one can reset the password by making use of the security questions. If the users do not remember the security questions, they can send a mail mentioning the User ID and the 15 digits account number to ‘econnect@tmbank.in’ to regenerate a new password. The new password will be sent to the registered address and charges applicable for password regeneration will be deducted from the account.
Q. How to change the TMB netbanking password?
A. It is recommended to change the password periodically for safety reasons. To change the password, click on ‘customize menu’ and select the ‘change password’ option. Here, one can also change his/her T-PIN along with login PIN.
Q. How to change the registered phone no. or email ID?
A. To change the registered phone number or email ID, the customer has to contact the bank and submit a request letter.
