One can register and start availing the services offered on the mobile banking app by following the steps below:
Step 1: Download the HDFC mobile banking app from the ‘Play Store’ app on your smartphone
Step 2: One needs to be registered for HDFC Net Banking to start using the app
Step 3: Register for the bank’s net banking service on its official website, if not registered
Step 4: Log in using the Customer ID and Password to start using HDFC mobile netbanking
Step 5: Use the app to avail a wide variety of features like paying bills, making credit card payments, viewing account, and many more

Log in to HDFC mobile banking with the Customer ID and IPIN.
Once logged in, the account holder will be able to check the savings account balance, HDFC credit card details, make third party fund transfers and use other features of the app for the banking needs.
Alternatively, account holders can also login HDFC Mobile Banking app using Quick Access PIN (QAP). Users can set their 4 digit QAP and enable biometric login as well
Step 1: Open HDFC Mobile Banking app & login using the credentials
Step 2: Go to the “Menu” option & tap on “Your Profile” option
Step 3: Click on ‘’Security Center” and tap on “Manage Easy Login Method” option
Step 4: Click on Change default login method & set a 4-Digit login PIN or Fingerprint.
Step 5: Click on “Confirm” option and the IPIN/Password will be changed successfully.
One can set up his/her Easy Login PIN easily by performing these steps in the HDFC mobile banking app:
Step 1: Click here to start the Easy Login PIN registration process
Step 2: Enter Customer ID and registered mobile number and Tap on ‘Continue’
Step 3: Enter OTP received on the mobile number registered with the HDFC bank
Step 4: Enter the debit card details and tap on” Continue’’ option
Step 5: Enter new 4-digit PIN and re-enter the PIN to confirm
One will receive acknowledgement of successful registration of Easy Login PIN.

Customers will have to perform below-mentioned steps to set Easy Login PIN:
Step 1: Open the HDFC Mobile Banking app and login using the credentials
Step 2: Go to Menu and then tap on “Your Profile”
Step 3: Tap on “Security Center” and then on “Manage Easy Login Method”
Step 4: After this click on the “Change” option
Step 5: Enter the existing “Easy Login PIN” and then enter the new PIN
Re-enter the new PIN and click on the “Confirm” option
Account holders can follow the below-mentioned steps to de-register Quick Access PIN easily –
Step 1: Login to HDFC Mobile Banking app using credentials and click on ‘’Menu’’ > “Your Profile” > “Security Center” > “Manage Easy Login Method”
Step 2: Click on “Remove” option and confirm all the details
Step 3: Click on the “Confirm” option

HDFC bank provides the facility of WhatsApp banking to its accountholders where they can access the services just by sending ‘Hi’ on the number 70700 22222. WhatsApp banking service by HDFC will allow the users to view their account balance, bank account statement, available credit limit on credit card, IFSC code for a particular branch, know the status of your cheque and more.
For existing customers having an account
Accountholders need to save the number 70700 22222 in their contacts and send a WhatsApp message ‘Hi’ from the registered mobile number. To proceed further, they need to input last 4 digits of their Customer ID and OTP received on the registered mobile number.
For existing customers holding a credit card
Cardholders have to save the number 70700 22222 and send a WhatsApp message ‘Hi’ from the registered mobile number. To proceed further, they need to input last 4 digits of their Credit Card Number and OTP received on the registered mobile number.
For existing customers having a loan
Save the number 70700 22222 and send a WhatsApp message ‘Hi’ from the registered mobile number. To proceed further, they need to input the Loan Account Number and OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Please note that HDFC Bank has not allowed Fund Transfer via WhatsApp Banking so far.

Ans. The transaction limit on the mobile banking app is Rs. 2 lakh, but it can be increased to Rs. 10 lakh. UPI limit is set at Rs 1 lakh per day and presently, there are no charges for UPI payment.
NEFT transaction on Mobile banking application does not incur any charge, while IMPS transactions are charged as follows which are applicable starting 1st October 2020.
