Step 1: Login to the Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal using your Aadhaar number and OTP received on your registered mobile number
Step 2: Click on the “Update Address in your Aadhaar” option
Step 3:Select the type of online Aadhaar update, that is, the option to do a document-based address update

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of original supporting documents for address update
Step 6: Pay an update fee of Rs. 50 using debit/credit card or via net banking
Step 7: You will get the Service Request Number that can be used to track the update request

Step 9: After a few more validations by the backend software, your request processing will be completed and you will receive an SMS notification about the outcome.

Residents who wish to update their address in Aadhaar and don’t have supporting documents in their name can now update their address in Aadhaar with the consent of the Head of Family (HoF).
Here is a step-by-step guide to carry out an HoF-based online address update in your Aadhaar card:
Step 1: Visit the ‘My Aadhaar’ portal (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in) and choose the option that lets you do Head of Family (HOF)-based address update
Step 2: Enter the Aadhaar number of the HoF for validation
Step 3: After successful validation of the HoF’s Aadhaar number, you will be required to upload a Proof of Relationship document*
Step 4: Pay an update fee of Rs. 50. Upon successful payment, an SRN (Service Request Number) will be generated and shared with you
Step 5: An SMS will be sent to the HoF about the authentication request
Step 6: The HoF needs to give his/her consent by logging into the My Aadhaar portal within 30 days from the date of receiving the request for successful address update in your Aadhaar card

Step 1: Visit the UIDAI website and click “Document Update” listed under the My Aadhaar tab or directly visit the myAadhaar portal- https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
Step 2: Login using your Aadhaar number and the OTP received on your registered mobile number
