This particular account can be opened by any scheduled commercial bank which is included in the second schedule of RBI Act 1934.
Any person competent to contract may open an account in his or her name. The customer may not open more than one such account. Bank of Baroda Current Account may be opened in the names of 2 or more people and may be made payable to:
The Current Accounts can be opened for sole proprietorship firms, partnership firms, private limited and public limited companies, HUFs, trusts, clubs, associates etc. satisfactorily introduced to the bank and on fulfilling certain laid down procedures and adhering to all the requirements. Accounts can also be opened by minors of age 14 years and above (if able to read and write in their sole names).
