Eligibility criteria for PNB ATM cards are as follows:

• All the KYC enabled saving and current account holders, maintaining a minimum balance and regularly operating their account are eligible
• New customers opening their account in PNB Bank are also eligible
• Individual customers having an overdraft facility

Note: Above-mentioned eligibility criteria are generic. The type of debit card issued against your bank account may vary across various parameters such as minimum account balance, and account type or based upon your relationship with PNB.

• PNB offers various benefits in the form of lounge access, air accident cover, and global acceptance almost across all debit cards
• You can manage your finances better Via PNB net banking, as you can set the withdrawal and shopping limits for POS and online transactions. As a result, you do not need to visit the bank to make changes
• PNB ATM/Debit Card can be used on POS and E-com channels of payment

When you open a savings or a current account with PNB, you will also be given a debit card by the bank. In case, you haven’t got one, you can apply for it by visiting the nearest PNB branch. You can also apply via SMS service SMS <DEBCARD 16 DIGIT ACCOUNT NUMBER> to 5607040 from the registered mobile number.

PNB Bank ATM card activation is done through the Green PIN facility via the following pin generation process:

• PNB Debit Card PIN Generate via Netbanking

You need to log in to the PNB net banking portal with the user ID and password and then select ‘’Value Added Services’’ option. Under the “Value Added Services” tab, choose the “Set/Reset Debit Card PIN” option. Now select the account number and click on “Continue”. Enter the OTP and set a new 4-digit PIN for the PNB debit card and click on the submit button

• PNB Debit Card PIN generate through ATM

You can also activate PNB Debit Card PIN by visiting the ATM and then choosing the ‘ENTER GREEN PIN (OTP)’ tab. Now enter the 6-digit OTP sent on the registered mobile number and click on “Yes”. Proceed further by providing the desired 4-digit ATM PIN and click on the “Confirm” tab to generate PNB Debit Card PIN

There are a number of methods by which you can block the PNB ATM/Debit card:

• PNB Debit Card block / Hotlisting through Internet Banking

To block PNB Debit Card using PNB net banking, you are required to login to the PNB netbanking portal and choose “Value Added Services” to proceed. Then choose the “Debit Card Hot-listing” option from the drop down menu and select the debit card that you want to hotlist. Lastly, enter IBS Transaction Password and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

• PNB Debit Card block using SMS facility

Send the message (HOT space Card Number) e.g. HOT 7127680000000054 to 5607040 from the registered mobile number. Once PNB Debit Card block process is completed, you will be notified.

• Blocking Card via PNB Debit Card Customer Care

PNB ATM/Debit Card can be used both online and offline:

Using PNB Debit Card Offline:

• Swipe your PNB debit card at a card machine, and enter your debit card PIN to complete the transaction
• Upon successful transaction, you will receive a notification from the bank regarding the amount deducted from your bank account

In other words, the bank processes the request made by the merchant using your debit card and releases the required amount.

Using PNB Debit Card Online:

• When you use your PNB debit card online, you will be asked to enter the 16-digit debit card number, expiry date and three-digit CVV to complete the transaction
• Once all the details are provided, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
•  You have to enter the OTP at the merchant’s site to complete the transaction
  

Similar to an offline transaction, you will receive a confirmation message from the bank regarding the deduction.

Complaints lodged against failed ATM transactions will be resolved within 7 working days of receipt of complaints. However,  for delayed resolution, compensation of Rs.100 per day will be paid by the bank  if claim is lodged within 30 days of the date of transaction.
