How to Activate your Indian Bank Debit Card? You can activate your debit card, by Indian Bank Debit card PIN Generation online via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking app. For this, you can log in using your user ID and password. These services can be used for activating a new debit card, set/reset PIN, Lock/unlock transactions, enable/disable and for setting limits for ATM/POS/e-com/NFC/domestic and international transactions.

You can get your ATM/Debit card from Indian Bank when you open a savings, current, or proprietorship account with the bank. However, if you wish you upgrade your card to a better Indian bank variant, you can contact the bank directly through customer care or by visiting your nearest Indian bank ATM branch.

Indian Bank charges NIL annual maintenance charge for the first year on all debit cards but this fee is applicable from the second year onward. Additionally, you are also charged for exceeding the free withdrawal limit on ATMs, which is Rs. 23 per transaction.
The limits for Indian Bank Debit cards varies from one card to another. In general, the cash withdrawal limit ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 1 Lakh, whereas, the limit for POS transactions ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 2 lakh. The withdrawal transaction limit on other bank ATMs is 3 free transactions per month in metro cities and 5 free transactions per month in non-metro cities.
