Step 1: Log in to HDFC Net Banking account and navigate on the ‘Cards’ tab, appearing on the horizontal menu bar.
Step 2: Now select option ‘Debit Cards’.
Step 3: Choose option ‘Instant PIN Generation’ , appearing under the ‘Request’ tab.

Step 5: Lastly, authenticate the PIN generation transaction with OTP, as received on your registered mobile number.
*In case you are not able to set a PIN instantly through net banking/ mobile banking, you can use the ‘PIN Regeneration’ option to set the PIN.
HDFC account holders can generate HDFC ATM PIN by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Log in to HDFC mobile banking app.
Step 2: Navigate and click on the ‘Menu’ option appearing on the top left corner.
Step 3: Here, move to option ‘Pay’ and then ‘Cards’.
Step 4: Now click on the arrow appearing for option ‘Debit Cards’ and click on option ‘Set PIN’.
Step 5: Here as well, authenticate the transaction, by entering the OTP sent on your registered mobile number.
*In case, you are unable to set a PIN instantly through Net Banking/ Mobile Banking, please use the ‘PIN Regeneration’ option to set the PIN.
Follow the below steps to generate HDFC Debit Card through HDFC Bank ATM:
Step 1: Visit to the nearest HDFC ATM and insert the debit card into the ATM.
Step 2: Choose the ‘PIN Generation’ option from the list of services shown on the screen.
Step 3: Now enter an 11-digit account number and choose option ‘continue’.
Step 4: Enter the registered mobile number with your account against which the card is issued and press the ‘confirm’ option.
Step 5: Now enter the green PIN sent with your HDFC Debit card along the welcome kit in a sealed envelope ( you might also be asked to enter the OTP received on your mobile number) and choose option ‘Set PIN’, as you are prompted to change your debit card PIN.
Step 6: Here, enter the new debit card PIN.
