National Electronic Fund Transfer allows you to transfer money across the nation. This is a one-on-one fund transfer option that allows firms, corporates as well as individuals to transfer funds from one bank to an individual or another organization. In order to make these fund transfers, it is important that the banks are NEFT enabled and the transactions are made under NEFT working hours. You can also get a whole list of banks on the Reserve Bank of India website. Today, most banks allow this fund transfer option to account holders. What are NEFT working hours?
NEFT working hours are determined by the Reserve Bank of India. From 16 December 2019, NEFT has been made a 24×7 available service for the customers. The system will be available on all days of the year, including holidays. This includes 48 half-hourly settlement batches starting from 00:30 hours to 00:00 hours.
