Interestingly, HDFC Bank’s another premium card- HDFC Diners Club Black Metal Edition– provides almost identical benefits as Infinia at a relatively lower annual fee of Rs. 10,000. HDFC Infinia and Diners Club Black have the same reward rate offering up to 3.33% value-back and allowing 1:1 redemption across flights, hotels and air mile conversion. Infinia is clearly one of the best premium credit cards in India – offering an excellent reward rate, hotel benefits, unlimited lounge access, low forex mark-up fee, unlimited golf games and many more benefits. Not only does it allow cardholders to earn substantial rewards but it also provides them the opportunity to utilize the accumulated rewards for travel bookings (in 1:1 ratio) across some leading airlines or against premium brand products/vouchers. To sum up, HDFC Infinia continues to set the benchmark for premium credit cards in India, notwithstanding a few niche alternatives like Axis Magnus for Burgundy.
