The government has made it compulsory for all earning individuals and non-individuals to link PAN card with their operational bank accounts. Each and every bank is supposed to ask for the PAN if there is any new account opening. PAN is considered as the most important document for financial activities.

- Ask for the PAN updation form from the bank officials
- Read carefully and fill up the credentials without making any mistakes or overwriting
- Submit the duly signed form to the bank official and collect the receipt of the same
- You will receive an update from the bank when the process is completed and verified by the concerned authorities
Maximum time taken by the bank to link bank accounts is about 4-5 working days. After the processing is over, banks will send a confirmation mail/message on the account holder’s registered mobile number. If any of the account holders fails to do so, they have to face the consequences of paying tax on the interest earned on deposits.
Steps to link PAN Card with the UCO Bank Account Online
Account holders who want to link their PAN with the UCO bank account without visiting the branch should follow the below-mentioned steps:
- From your computer, browse to the UCO Bank’s website. The domain for the website is ucobank.com
- Navigate to the login page of the bank account and enter the login credentials
- On left hand side of the page, there will be an option for ‘Request’. Click on the option and a drop down menu will be displayed
- In the drop down menu, click on “PAN Card Updation”.
- This will redirect you to a new page where in you will be asked to enter the PAN Card details
- After entering all your credential submit the page.
- You will receive an update when the process is completed by the bank.
PAN card updation generally requires 4-5 working days to get it linked with the bank account. If not done, account holders can make a call to customer care executive or can visit the branch to get the issue resolved.
