Steps to Link PAN with HDFC Bank Account Online:
Account holders can link their PAN card with HDFC Bank online without giving any visits to the bank following a very simple step mentioned below:
Step 1: Login to your HDFC internet banking account by visiting netbanking.hdfcbank.com
Step 2: Fill up your Net banking Customer ID and Password to process further
Step 3: After getting logged in to the page, click on the “Request” option given on the left side of the window
Step 4: Select the PAN/Update PAN details menu from the drop down list under “Request” option
Step 5: Enter your 10 digit alphanumeric code (PAN) in the space provided and then select the continue option
Step 6: After entering the details, confirm the same to get updated
Usually PAN card details are updated within 4 working days after getting verified with the concerned authorities. Account holders can check their updated details after 4 working days through a confirmation message/email sent by the bank. PAN number can be updated online only by the individual customer. If any firms, companies, HUFs, associations, and other entities want to get their PAN card details updated, they should visit the nearest HDFC Bank branch.
Steps to Link your PAN with HDFC Bank Account Offline
PAN now can also be linked with the HDFC Bank Account offline. All you need is to follow the below mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the HDFC Bank Branch where you have maintained your account
Step 2: Ask for PAN updation form (KYC) and fill up the details required without making any mistakes or overwriting in the form
Step 3: After filling up the details, submit the form to bank officials
Step 4: You will receive an update of getting your PAN linked with the bank account after the verification and other process is over
Bank officials may ask to submit the documents which may include-
- Self-attested copy of your PAN Card
- A letter addressing the Branch Manager to get PAN linked with the HDFC Bank account
Once the above mentioned process is over, your PAN will be linked with your bank account. You can avail the government subsidies and financial transactions benefits with the bank account after linking PAN with it.
