The IndusInd Legend Credit Card is a rewards and travel-focused card, offering accelerated earning on weekend spends and a good redemption value on transferring points to air miles. It can be a good option for frequent travelers as the forex mark-up charge is low (1.8%), and the accumulated rewards can be transferred to partner airline loyalty programs in a 1:1 ratio. Complimentary movie tickets, a dedicated concierge service, auto-assist, and complimentary insurance add to the card’s benefits.
However, though promoted as a premium credit card, IndusInd Legend struggles to justify its premium status. The reward earning rate is very low in comparison to other premium cards, which brings down the overall value back, despite its 1:1 redemption ratio. Additionally, unlike other premium cards that allow redemption against multiple airline partners, this card offers this feature with comparatively less number of airlines. The card offers no lounge access (discontinued w.e.f. 7 March, 2025)—a disappointing factor for a credit card that already offers travel-focused benefits like forex markup fees, insurance, concierge and even Priority Pass membership. Having said that, the offered features are still good for a lifetime free credit card. That way, it can be a fair addition to a card user’s wallet.

Though the reward structure offered on this card is basic, the credit card offers varying reward points on weekdays and weekends. Thus, if you mostly go out shopping on weekends, you can easily maximize the reward benefit. Also, while there is a cap on the range of rewards that can be redeemed, there is no expiry to reward points. Keeping that in view, the bonus 3,000 reward points offered under the milestone benefit add more value, as you always have more to redeem and avail the benefit of. Additionally, the card offers multiple redemption options across air miles and cash credit/statement balance with a good value back.
